At the start of the academic year, the library made plans to alter its services and implemented a series of safety protocols to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus in its spaces. Library staff transformed all instruction services, altered one-on-one reference support, reconfigured the layout of library spaces, and changed the expectations for student staff. This session will review, detail, and summarize the library’s strategies for the 2020-2021 academic year, and then discuss what will be worth keeping, what will be worth adjusting, and what will be discarded moving forward.
