About the Conference
The MOBIUS Annual Conference is a chance for MOBIUS members to come together once a year and swap ideas, network, and receive training. The conference registration is free for employees of Missouri libraries and our out of state members.
Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, MOBIUS will be hosting our 2021 conference ONLINE again this year! We miss seeing everyone in person but we need to keep the health and safety of all involved in mind. We are hopeful to be back together in person in 2022!
This year, we are streamlining our conference in an effort to make it as simple and beneficial as possible for our attendees and speakers. We will be offering three half days of sessions and roundtables. Monday's sessions will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with each session lasting 30 minutes (with additional time for Q&A). Tuesday will have sessions in the morning from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with roundtable discussions for the last hour. Wednesday afternoon sessions will resume starting at 1 p.m. and end with roundtables at 4 p.m.
As always, the MOBIUS Annual Conference is free to all attendees and speakers thanks to a grant from the Institute of Museums and Library Services.
More information to come in the near future! For now, please submit your session ideas for the 2021 conference on June 14, 15, and 16th!
