New Life on Campus: Growing an Institutional Repository during Difficult Times

At the beginning of 2020, Fontbonne had a fledgling institutional repository (GriffinShare Digital Commons) and a mandate to make it relevant in a period of shrinking budgets and increasing disconnection. I will open this session with a brief tour and an overview of some of the surprising things we have accomplished during the last year. (In spite of COVID? Because of? Who's to say? We can have that conversation, too.) We will spend the rest of our time discussing the opportunities and possibilities offered by a library-run IR. What we cover will be up to you, but I am hoping we will see a wide range of examples, best practices, caveats, and creative ideas that will send us all home inspired and motivated to try something new.
